In the first place I want to say that I really like the idea of the study :) (no I will not steal your ideas). Second, I think that you will be able to partially answer the research question, because I think it (how much information is sufficient to pick the best available treatment) is a very broad question that depends on many different factors (e.g., kind of problems). Third, I wondered whether you were planning to include the actual effectiveness of the treatment on the specific case, rather than the effectiveness of treatments tested in general (because it may be the case that some of your participants can foresee that a treatment will not be effective for this specific case)

I don't have any comments about your other questions, because that goes beyond my clinical (research) knowledge ;) Good luck and lots of fun with designing the study! If you need anymore help, you know where to find me!
